What is the project timeline?

The campaign will run for 21 days, and we’ll push to unlock locked designs. These designs will be spotlighted and then unlocked as we reach stretch goals. You won’t be charged until the end of the campaign (February 13). This is an all-or-nothing campaign, meaning you’ll only pay if the campaign reaches its funding goal. If the campaign doesn’t reach its goal, you won’t be charged, and the campaign will be considered unsuccessful.

After the campaign ends, BackerKit will process your payment. Please note: the EU has introduced new rules (GPSR), which make shipping to the EU cost-prohibitive for a small business like mine. As such, this project only ships to the United States.

Once payments are processed, funds will be sent to me, approximately two weeks later. This will mark the beginning of the project’s next phase.

A survey will be sent to gather the necessary information to finalize order numbers. I’ll then order the pins from the manufacturer, along with any additional physical items unlocked during the campaign (stickers, dice, bookmarks). Manufacturing and shipping will take time, with an estimated 6-8 weeks for production and 10-12 weeks for shipping after the campaign ends.

My goal is to deliver your pins by the end of May 2025. If you order add-ons, digital items will be sent once payment is processed and surveys are returned. Any additional physical items will be shipped with the pins in May.

What about VAT, tariffs, or extra fees?

VAT/Tariffs/International Taxes: Please also be aware that you will be responsible for VAT import tax and tariffs for your country if required. As such, if your country imposes VAT/international taxes on books and the like, then you will need to pay your courier to receive your package. I do not charge VAT/international taxes, but your country might and am not responsible for them. If they do, you will need to pay your courier to receive your package.

Additionally, if a package is returned because of VAT/international taxes not being paid, a second attempt will be made to send it to you, however, you will be required to repay shipping. Due to the nature of this project, I cannot offer refunds.

What is your refund policy?

We empathize with life’s unexpected challenges. We understand that circumstances can change, impacting your participation in our project. However, to ensure the success of our project, once payments are processed, all payments are final. We allocate funds immediately to fulfill our commitments.

Due to our financial obligations, we cannot offer refunds. This policy allows us to: 1. Honor our commitments to contributors and partners. 2. Maintain the project’s integrity and quality.

Yes, I did. No project is complete without the many team players who help bring a vision to life. This project includes work created by Therena and Wilcolence.

I ordered one pin, but I'd like to add another one. How can I do that?

You are able to add pins to your order during the project survey, through the add-on function. There you’ll be able to choose a pin from the available designs.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
