I'm popping in to let you know that surveys have been sent. We've passed the smoke test and are now underway for the survey completion process. We've corrected errors thanks to the smoke test. Yay!

Don't forget, if you backed during the first 48 hours of the campaign, to add your backer reward add-on (either the set of dice or the leather bookmark). This option is on the add-on page. Please select your preferred reward add-on so I can ensure accurate ordering.

Additionally, we are closing in on funding the earth dragon pin. Yay! We're 3 orders away from making this happen! I really want to add this one to our collection, so to ensure we can add this pin to our collection, we've lowered the funding goal (and then those who wish a complete set created by Therena can have all of her beautiful dragons too).

Want to know about this dragon? I'm currently in the throes of writing my work in progress, and thought to introduce the dragon I'm calling the Geowyvern/Geodrache (Steinbrenner).

Our Earth-themed dragon spews acid and has a bulky, armored body with scales that resemble dark, rough stone. Their mighty wings are sturdy, broad, with a thicker membrane due to their size. They contain bony protrusions, which also resemble a stone-like texture.

Color: (Earth) Green and brown dragon.

Signet: Jera Rune ᛃ (represents harvest, fertility, and cyclical nature of life, reaping). Linked to the power of nature. The Geowyveryn/Geodrache are cousins, with the only difference being that one is bipedal and the other quadrupedal. 



This particular species of dragon is inspired by my wyvern in A Dragon's Witch.

Hi Amazing Dragon Lovers,

I'm popping in to update you on things as we head toward the end of February. January seemed to have lasted five years, while February breezed on by (as if soaring on the backs of dragons).

First, thank you for trusting in our project to bring our wonderful dragon collection to life. Pat yourself on the back! I'm still celebrating us and the community we're building around our shared love of pins and dragons.






Now, on to what's happening next.

On the backend, I've set up the pledge manager and I'll be initiating the Smoke Test within the next 24 hours. The Smoke test is when I send 5% of the surveys out to backers. Backerkit requires this, so that way if anything arises--any problems with the surveys, we can go ahead and fix it. 

Once the Smoke Test clears, all the surveys will be sent out.

The survey is super important and shouldn't be overlooked. This is where you:
1. Choose your pins from available designs;
2. Confirm your shipping address
3. Purchase any add-ons (or even help unlock any stretch goal pins, from the 3 pin designs we didn't have a chance to fund).

The survey will be open for you to complete until March 15th!


Errored Pledges

There are some error pledges, where Backerkit has not been able to collect your pledged amount. You can still correct your payment information and make payments through the survey. 

Surveys will close on March 15th and all outstanding pledges will be processed by Backerkit. I will then use those surveys to move to production with the manufacturer, and order the necessary number. The goal is to ship all pins to you by May!

EBook add-ons will be sent after the survey closes in March and will be delivered by Bookfunnel.

To unlock the locked dragons, those pins require only 20 pledges and we are off to a great start!

I'm so happy to pop in here. First, we did it! I'm raising my cup of coffee to you in cheers! We successfully completed Pintopia and unlocked several of our beautiful designs and all of this is possible because of you! Thank you so much.


This weekend we celebrate our feat in bringing these designs to life.

Wow! Time is flying! I watched the Superbowl and being from Ohio where football is life, it was great to explain to my youngest some of the rules (and of course to watch some of the dynamic interceptions - wow). If you saw any of the commercials, did you have a favorite? I enjoyed the Ram Truck one with the retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears (it had a dragon in it of course)! LOL!

Here's a quick update on what we've accomplished so far:

1. First 48 Hours. Those who backed the campaign during the first 48 hours will receive their bonus goodie (either a set of dice or a leather bookmark, to be chosen after the campaign ends).

2. Returning Backer gift. As a thank you, returning backers will receive an exclusive bonus sticker.

3. Unlocked Designs. We've unlocked 4 designs (Life is Better, D&D, Fire, and Water).

4. Poll results. We're so close to unlocking the 5th pin design,  too! According to our latest poll, the next pin design to be unlocked will be the Air Dragon pin!

5. Two new pin designs have been introduced, which we hope to unlock

6. Stickers announced. In response to popular demand, we've added stickers as an available add-on to the project, as well as many different eBook bundles!
